What a month it's been! We've been excited to tell you about this news for a long time, but needed to wait until after November to let you know more definite plans.......

We are pleased to announce that we will be partnering with East West Ministries! East West is a grace-based missions organization whose goal is to link North American churches with churchplants in closed-access countries. By partnering with Greater Europe Mission and East West, we will be able to split our travel expenses between the two organizations when traveling to places where both have ministries. This will give us greater opportunities to use our gifts to further the work that God is doing around the world. Thank you for praying.

One of our first opportunities for service will be in Russia where GEM and EW have a women's training school to prepare Eastern European women to teach other women the Bible. We'll let you know more details later. To God be the glory!

Returning to Apex Community Church in Ohio was a great experience. Their Leadership Summit invited us to speak during breakfast and we hope to have that presentation on our website (www.joelandkrista.com) soon. We were excited to introduce our ministry to the many new friends at Apex, as well as having a refreshing time with old friends. Our monthly support pledges increased after this weekend, for which we are very thankful! And, through connections at the conference, we have been invited to a missions conference in Birmingham this spring!

Now, more than ever before, we've come to realize the importance of your prayers. A tightly-packed schedule and many unknowns spell "s-t-r-e-s-s," but we were overwhelmed by God's peace. We had a confidence that only God can give that enabled us to say, "If this is a God-vision, rather than a Joel and Krista vision, He will provide."
